Our Club

Our club ensures that we support our people in sport and cultural activities and support the development of our Marae and its surrounds. The Club has had a fruitful year in terms of our financial position and has been generous supporters to our membership including our tamariki and their sport.

With the summer months looming we are now looking at how best to support our softball teams from the tamariki to the Men's and Women's grades. Sponsorship is a two-way arrangement that benefits all. Rugby season for our tamariki seems to have fallen away so we need to encourage those parents to have our children in this sport for next season.

Our commitment to our Marae and its surrounds through our monthly koha and quad-parte arrangements, our support to our tangihanga koha, to our kuia and those who travel to represent our Marae, the financial support has been unquestionable. Thank you to the committee for your understanding.

The old club building is in need of a makeover and no doubt the committee will organize a working bee in the near future.

The Housie group is still serving the purpose of fundraising for the marae and its surrounds and maintaining the hapu van. Thank you to the core group of women who tirelessly turn up every Friday as volunteers to raise funds.

Welcome to our new committee – the standards have been set, the challenge is to lift it another level.
